My Old Kentucky Barbeque

Celebrate the spirit of Kentucky at the My Old Kentucky Barbeque event on Sunday, May 5th, 2025, following the excitement of the 151st Kentucky Derby!  Held at the picturesque My Old Kentucky Home State Park, guests will enjoy designated parking at “My Old Kentucky Home,” “The Stephen Foster Drama,” and “The Justice Center,” with two shuttles providing direct transportation from these offsite locations to the Visitor Center entrance. Dive into the heritage of the Bluegrass State with a Mint Julep & Lily bar on the Veranda from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Live music will fill the air under the Rotunda, featuring Nathan and Chesi Arnett from “The Voice” 2019 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by the main act, The Crashers, until 5:00 PM.

Savor the flavors of Kentucky with BBQ and Burgoo courtesy of the Kentucky Pork Producers, including on-site Burgoo, Pork Chop sandwiches with baked apples & beans, and Pulled Pork sandwiches. The event also features a 40X80 food tent in the Field Tent across from the Rotunda, alongside a beer and spirit garden highlighting Anheuser-Busch and Heaven Hill products, promising a day of delicious indulgence and festive fun at My Old Kentucky Home State Park.

For a more exclusive experience, a limited number of VIP tickets are available for $125. These VIP tickets include food, access to a private VIP area, and an open bar exclusively for VIP guests. LIMITED TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR!

General Admission ticket prices will include one BBQ plate (choice of sandwich) and a bowl of burgoo.  Tickets are $30 for adults and $25 for youth and Designated Drivers.
